From / To the airport
Thessaloniki airport (SKG) “Macedonia” is located about 15 km far from the city center and can be reached either by taxi (20 min) or public transport (45 min):
- Bus service is available on 24-hour basis. Bus route 78 “K.T.E.L – AERODROMIO” goes directly to the city center and back and the cost is €2.00. For more destinations, you can check here
- Taxis are available at the designated taxi waiting area, located outside the arrivals exit. The taxi fare to the city center is approximately €15–20 from 5 am to 12 am, while from 12 am to 5 am expect to be charged an extra €10 for this particular route.
