KohaCon16 will have the same structure as the previous ones and will be carried out as follows: The presentations session will be held from Monday 30th of May to 1st of June, then a day trip will be offered on Wednesday 2nd of June followed by a hackfest from Friday 3rd to Saturday 4th of June. After the 3-days presentations session, KohaCon16 continues as follows:

Day trip

 
Start with a visit to the archaeological site of Vergina (1hr trip) where we will have a guided tour to the Museum of Royal Tombs of Aigai. Continue to the seaside town of Leptokarya (1hr trip),  where we can swim / sunbathe / have lunch. Return to Thessaloniki in late afternoon (1hr trip).

Buses will leave at 9:00 am from AUTh campus (in front of the Central Library building).

Hackfest

 

Where developers and librarians will form teams to exchange ideas, squash bugs, develop new functionality.
Also workshops, discussions, hands on demonstrations.

Hackfest sessions start at 9:30 am at the Faculty & Researchers Reading Room of AUTh Central Library and finish at late noon. There will be breaks for coffee/snacks.
